Have you ever wanted to go on a Yoga Retreat but didn’t have the time to take a full week off work? Or would you like a healthy holiday that is easy, convenient, and close to home? Well, The House of Yoga (www.thehouseofyoga.co.uk), Putney’s most popular yoga studio, is bringing you a weekend yoga retreat in the lap of luxury, for only a two hour train journey from London.
The retreat is held at That Amazing Place (www.thatamazingplace.co.uk), a place so, dare I say ah-mazing, the owners weren’t shy to let everyone else know it. That Amazing Place is a gorgeous converted monastery set on eight acres of stunning grounds and gardens, including a lake and a secret garden. Spa treatments are also available and if you’re not relaxed enough from all the yoga, then their sauna and steam room will surely help ease any remaining tension away.
The retreat will be led by The House of Yoga’s two most senior teachers, as well as myself, and Craig Norris, one of the most incredible and dynamic teachers I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with and learning from, who has 20 years of yoga experience. In addition to the The House of Yoga,Craig teaches at some of the best London studios including Triyoga and Indaba .
The retreat welcomes people of all levels including complete beginners. You can expect a range of styles from dynamic vinyasa, to chilled-out and restorative yin, with a lot of laughs and smiles thrown into the practice and the weekend for good measure.
In addition to the amazing yoga and amazing location, you can also expect amazing healthy and delicious food catered by the Retreat Café (http://www.retreatcafe.com/). With two locations in Putney and Soho, the Retreat Café has a particular flair for health conscious and nutritious food, catering for any diet.
